No bunny here...just super fresh glass right out of the studio!

AH HA!! I thought some of these crops lately seemed a little off! Now I know for sure. Anyone else having cropping issues with the mobile version of blogger? Or is it just me? I'm looking at my latest posts and the right side of all the photos have been lopped off...no big deal I'm not particular about stuff like this...it doesn't bother me at all...really...I'm super easy going and this doesn't remind of nails on the chalkboard or anything else like that all I'm fine I'm totally fine...just going to slowly step away from my phone and computer and do some really deep breathing exercises, put on my yoga pants and meditate my way out of this!

Starting my ETSY page soon! Any helpful hints greatly appreciated!

I'll have a page for my very reasonably priced super cute glass objects, and I'll have a separate page for my photographs. I know there are a bunch of etsy wizards out there...feel free to get real bossy with me, I welcome any and all advice!

Winner at Sundance. WARNING: this film is not cute or fluffy. It is important.

you've probably noticed that the bunnies steer clear of politics. what you may not know is that they love documentaries! pair that with a lot of soft spots for rick rowley and jeremy scahill, well now...they just had to do their part. if you can and if you can take it, go see "dirty wars". rick and jeremy's courage and integrity is unprecedented. please let this brave and fearlessly honest film be an inspiration to us all. complacency and ignorance kills. please do what you can to support safety, freedom and love. Thank you RICK and JEREMY for fighting the good fight! what a relief to be able to trust somebody to tell the hard truths.

Bunnies assume the position as they wait for the premier of "dirty wars" by Rick Rowley and Jeremy Scahill

bells summons his inner I Ching.

real men serenade their bunnies.

patient patients at the vet...if it's not one bunny leg, it's another!

look at those little faces, do you see it...the determination? these bunnies are putting me through the test!  i swear they're seemingly scheming to come up with new stuff every week, and i'll be darned if i'm not going to pass each one of their furry neurotic tests. i just hope that at the end of this perpetual, relentless revolving door of vet visits, they promise me to live forever.  bring it on boys!  i'm going to take care of you if it's the last thing i do, and it just might be! vive le bun bun!!

Testing testing...posting from my phone...really??!!

DRASTIC TIMES, CALL FOR DRASTIC PHOTOS...BUNNY EMERGENCY ACROSS THE POND!!!

hello hello help help!!  we have just this morning befriended a new bunny owner and her bunny is not doing well. given all the trouble my bunnies have had over the years i thought i could help her, but she seems to have a set of issues that i have yet to encounter.  so if ANY of you bunny EXPERTS out there have some ideas, pretty please GO TO THE COMMENT SECTION, as she will be checking there for any advice.

first of all she's in the UK...in east riding of yorkshire in a town called hull, so any vet recommendations would be a great start!! the bunny is going to the vet tomorrow, not sure if the vet is an exotics specialist or not, but this woman says the vet treats guinea pigs, rabbits, hedgehogs etc...so hopefully!!! although she thinks this is just a regular vet.

this bunny has lost half her body weight.  she stopped eating as much as she usual a couple of weeks ago and these last couple of days she has dropped off quite a bit more.  only eating parsley, spinach, apple, no pellets and i don't know whether or not she's been eating hay.

she has been urinating more frequently and the urine has a stronger odor and has not been going in her litter box. i'm not sure about her pooping.  no drooling. very very thin.  still grooming herself, looking for a lot of extra attention from her mama since last nightlicking a lot. this is this woman's first rabbit so she's very new to bunny care and what to look out for...this is a beloved pet and any help or advice that you may have for her would be greatly appreciated.  i've been piecing the details together through little notes back and forth so i'm sorry if i've missed important details! i just wanted to try to help her before i have to run off to work...once again, please go to the comments to help her if you have any ideas, she'll be checking.

apple branch update = goose on a cool blue roof

what i do to these bunnies for a photo may have you concerned and understandably so. i'm sure the contact info for PETA is out there on the world wide web, and bell's may appreciate you phoning them on his behalf. as a rabbit photojournalist, i have some tough decisions to make.  this morning there was a goose fight on our lower roof.  we think the neighborhood geese have decided this is a pretty cool hangout. adding more interest, we have an abundance of apple branches up there that we'd like to move along to your bunnies and the geese want in on it. you may not think there could possibly be a newsworthy apple branch update, but that's where you're wrong. around 6am we heard little tapping toenails and tiny walking sounds.  then we heard an increase from a seeming landing followed by a mighty bellow of zesty squawks.  that continued on for hours until this goose above apparently won out, staking his claim with his woman. how can i not get a bunny in on it?!?!   bells was not harmed, annoyed perhaps, but now that i look more closely maybe he didn't really even wake up. the photo shoot lasted less than 30 seconds. i apologize for the quality, it's a cell phone.

a BIG shout out to vegansaraus!!!  they did a really nice post on their blog about the apple branch taste test. we love them and we especially love meave!!!  click on this to checkout the most amazing, inspiring and comprehensive vegan website in the universe.  www.vegansaraus.com

what is it wuagey??

duck, duck, bun!

an oldie but a goodie

i know this is an old photo, but it's one of my favorites and since i posted a bunch of mediocre ones last night in a hazy monday blahzay i wanted to make it up to you! i know the die hard PN fans don't think this is making up for anything since they've seen it a million times, but there are some new people lately. hang on while i go through some recent photos and see if i can find anything that will appease lisee, melanie, jade, tamara, diana, shell or those of you who have followed the blog since the beginning of time.  hold please...

we now have 777 photos on this blog.

too distracted to post masterpieces, are you going to be ok?

i plan on lowering the bar, while i try to figure out twitter and instagram. then when i can concentrate on photography again, you'll be impressed.

way back when: in jersey

this picture is no big deal

it's an overcast day, there's no jumpers on the bridge, the "curtains" need to be hemmed, nuage is out of focus, sheriff harper hasn't stopped by for a visit, it's monday night and you're bored wanting more...why am i posting this?

or is it?

because i can't get enough of squishy, furry, bunny butts, so there.

just because

i had to post something that has nothing to do with apple branches.

NOT at PCRAZY. Re: that site... back up soon!

as some of you may know, potentially crazy has been down for about a month.  the details are boring but let's just try to make it exciting by saying that the trouble involves a very important vice presidential executive in los angelos.  this same VP once upon a time used to be my personal assistant. i've fired him countless times before and since, but still he continues to excel and devote his precious time to all things bunny.  so as much as i'd like to blame everything on him, i can't. i can blame him for writing and singing this song. i can also blame him for saying this is "how apple branch freak outs are made", when in fact it's more about how they are eaten.  how they are made i suppose would involve a video about growing an apple tree.  so my biggest "whatever" goes out to you dear, chase! we miss you!!

RE-RUN of the taste test

are any of you able to talk to your bunnies without using a baby voice?  i tried so hard not to when i shot this video a couple of years ago. obviously i was totally unsuccessful. if i had the time to run out to petsmart or petco to get some new commerciaapple branches for them to refuse so that i could reshoot, i would...anything to not hear myself using this voice. well almost anything since i seem to be about to post this video.  the short of it is that i've heard from a few people that bunnies don't like the apple branches that they buy in stores.  even the smaller farms that sell apple branches are doing so at a much higher price.  i ship the smallest tender twiggs and the larger sized ones too. your bunnies will get a good mix of branch sizes that they can eat whole and some that willast them a few days as a chew toy.  for those of you who have seen this video posted before, my apologies...there seem to be some newcomers to the site.  if you're a newbie, this is for you!

nichole, the fastest emailer on the west coast! and the very first winner of the first bunny card!

nicole, i'm so excited that your chinchillas loved the branches too! i'll double check my paypal account details, and get back to you this evening!

apple branches!

do your bunnies ever get tired of being spoiled rotten by the the same old diet? the same old timothy hay, the same old hand picked basil, the same old organic kale, parsley, romaine dandelion salad followed by a very miniscule amount of banana twice a year? do your bunnies ever wish they had something they could really chomp on and whittle away at for days on end, keeping their teeth naturally and gently nice and trim while their delicate digestive systems stay right on "tract"...get it, "tract"? we have got just the thing...and they aren't the stale cardboard version of apple branches either. hand picked from a small orchard on the idyllic sauvie island....potentially nervous presents our annual apple branch haul! scroll down please..

we are forming a focus group, we very much need you to focus.

the subject is apple branches, delicious and nutritious, apple branches. fresh (cut less than a week ago). organic. delivered right to your house. what more could you want? do you have any questions? how many would would you like?

first 10 orders get a free bunny card!

here's the pile and here's the deal. we are on a boat, which means extremely limited space. and though our bunny daddy is a kind and reasonable man, come one...can he really stand to have a 6 foot pile of apple branches on his deck for the next couple of months while he's trying to keep his gleaming anchor collection organized? ok he probably could, but we push it so much...(we, being the bunnies and i) that i for one would like to try to see how efficiently we can move this pile along to your rabbits. i haven't checked on shipping rates yet, but it will probably be close to the same as last year, and i can't remember what that was. so my best guess for now is $20 for 2 lbs of branches + shipping. i can do smaller bundles too, but i'll wait and see if anyone asks for that before i start quoting prices willy nilly. if you have any questions you can email me at prubinelli@gmail.com
